A little about us...
Even though my husband and I already had a 3 year old fawn female Boxer and a 3 year old female Lab/Golden, in 2001 we adopted a 10 month deaf white female boxer from Rescue. I became involved with Boxer Rescue, acting as foster home coordinator, foster home, transport, and whatever was needed to help what I call my “heart dogs”. I’ve had Boxers most of my life.
We lost our fawn female boxer in 2002 and in a short time our home was filled with 3 deaf white Boxers, our Lab/Golden., and THE CAT. All rescues.
Our bedroom floor was covered with large dog beds. Hardly room to walk without tripping on a bed. Remembering when our sons were young they shared a small bedroom and bunk beds was the space solution. I HAD TO STACK THEM! Hence, sometime in mid-2002 I began developing my dog bunks. The pictures with the 4 dogs below were the first bunk beds. The name “Bow Wow Bunks” was coined sometime in 2005.
The top bunk residents (all around 10 years old) continue to love their top of the world location. They not only have the 2 bunks in our bedroom, but one in the family room. It truly is their favorite place to rest.
It is our hope that BowWow Bunks are your answer to the multiple dog household.

Update:We lost our Fraiser in July of 2009 and our Duchess in February 2010. In March 2010, Cleopatra, a 9 week old hearing white Boxer joined our pack. She too was a rescue. March 2011 Ceasar, a 6 month old check Boxer was rescued from a local shelter. Sadly in April 2011 we lost our Willie.
In truth, they ALL rescue us daily!
